You can a more in depth guide to properly sizing your table base for your application in our Base Sizing Guide, but in general we recommend 12" of overhang for glass, however the width of the base at dining height needs to be at least 20" W. The Criss Cross base tapers in a few inches, so I would recommend 26" W x 48" L x 29" H, from 3" square tubing for the Criss Cross base with a 42" W x 72" L glass top.
